Boca Raton Recs
Staying near Town Center for a week. Would appreciate any recommendations for mid range cost restaurants within a 15 minute drive. Cuisine is not as important as food quality. An example of a place we like a lot is Marios.

- Cucina D'Angelo - only if you want to go expensive. It is, quite simply, the BEST upscale Italian food in Boca (we also like Mario's for a reference - difft price point here)
- Sushi - Kansai on Palmetto and Powerline - great speciality rolls and fresh sushi. Definitely get the Chicago Bulls roll. They also have a Hibachi.
- Bagels/deli - Flakowitz on Federal and 20th. Best bagels in Florida.
- Wings - best in Boca, zero atmosphere Boca Wings and Ribs. Best for atmosphere/also GREAT wings- Flanigan's/Guppy's on Federal (we have my husband's bday here every year). -

I've had two delicious and creative meals at Opus 5 in the Boca Center. Moderately priced eateries (and good) is an oxymoron around here. Trattoria Romana is good for Italian. I disagree with Lily's and the Tin Muffin is a good choice, but it is only open for lunch. Great breakfast spot is The Boca Breakfast and Lunch club. You can eat healthy, or you can go wayyyyyy over the top with items like banana/peanut butter stuffed french toast.
Enjoy your stay

The Tin Muffin Cafe on Palmetto (east of US1) is good for food you could get at grandma's. The restaurant is small but they have great specials and you always feel like you're at home when you're eating there. Across the street is an Italian place called Lily's (casual) that is great as well.

I really like Stir Crazy. I know it's a chain but still pretty good. I also like Mark's in the Park and Max's Grille both in Mizner. The tuna at Mark's is amazing.
