    Olive Tree, near Mamoun's has amazing all lamb shawarma, but they're erratic on whether it's available, since it sells quickly and they make a whole one fresh afterwards, which takes hours. 1 PM is a good bet that it'll be ready and not sold out.

      My two faves in Manhattan are Jerusalem Falafel up on Broadway and maybe 104th Street and Mamoun's on Macdougal.
