Ed & Eddie's out of business
Ed & Eddie's Ice Cream, a great ice cream shop (IMO) on South Dale Mabry in Tampa is out of business. I drove by it tonight and it was oddly dark, so I stopped by and saw everything had been removed from the store. I think they have another location, but I don't know if it's shut down too. Some of the best chocolate ice cream I've ever had.

I agree --- I liked Ed & Eddies...
Their Mint, Chocolate, Toasted Coconut, and Coffee were great...The place itself smelled greasy quite often, and my wife had to leave and walk outside a couple times 'cause of it...
It's Coldstone Creamery that's probably knocking them outta da park... They're popping up all over (they 'replaced' Ed & Eddies other location by Veteran's Cinema on Anderson Rd.) and they certainly have premium ice cream... A lil' too rich & creamy--if there is such a thing...
Yup, I'd say it was 'probably' Coldstone...
The place is spotless and professional...
Try their Coffee, Coconut, Cheesecake, Watermelon, & Lemon...
On and on probably---those were just the few flaves I've tried...If ya'll haven't been there yet, I think the taste and creaminess is startlingly good, but if you eat too much it can get toooya...
