Nice Restaurant in Mystic, CT to propose marriage???

Hi, I’m looking for a place near Mystic, CT to propose marriage to my girlfriend... Any suggestions of a nice place to pop the question?

Thanks in advance!

  1. If you are willing to take a drive through the autumn countryside, I can send you to a very romantic setting where the warm and caring hosts will enjoy helping you make this an unforgettable moment.

This is one of my all time favorites for the combination of the setting, the food and the warmth of the welcome. It's hard to explain the charm of this place to someone who has not been there. Once you go, you understand.

The Golden Lamb Buttery in Brooklyn, CT.

Call them (reservations are essential) and tell them what you plan. I think they will become your partners and help you make it a perfect moment. And, I think they will love doing it.

One warning, as I remember, this is a cash or personal check only place- no credit cards.

    1. I second this choice. Wonderful place and people.
The memories would last a lifetime.

      1. I 3rd the recommendation - I actually proposed to my wife at the Golden Lamb! It worked out wonderfully! It is really a unique experience, not your standard restaurant by any means.

        1. A place you should consider is called " The Nut House "...I am unsure of the exact location, but I am sure that you will find it sometime in the future. :)
All kidding aside, you really cannot go wrong with the Golden Lamb this time of year...order a bottle of Moet and have the server deliver the wine and the ring on a silver service tray..always a nice touch.

          Best of Luck, Cowboy !

          1. Thanks, but i think thats too far from mystic. We are already coming from Stamford.. .Was hoping for something a little closer to mystic. What do you think of Flood Tide? They said they would get me a nice window table... help.

Bee and Thistle in Old Lyme is closer and romantic--

The Flood Tide is very pretty and a window table would have a great view, but the food's been iffy lately...The setting is lovely, however!
