Blue Hill or Bouley?

My husband and I will be in NYC Nov. 17-19, and we're looking for a special place for dinner Saturday night. (We're looking forward to dinner without a high chair, children's menu and trail of Cheerios.) I've made reservations at Blue Hill and Bouley -- which one should we choose? Or is there a better suggestion?

I second Bouley over Blue Hill. More special occasion, more attention to detail, more beautiful room. And they give away cake when you leave!

Bouley is one of my favorite restaurants, so I'd recommend that you go there.

Both are very good. Bouley is a bit higher end than Blue Hill, a little more 'special occasion' and would be my preference of the two. I prefer Cru to both, as another to consider.
