FRIED CLAMS - ESSEX, FARNHAMS OR WOODMANS?

Possible Halloween trip to Salem -- with fried clam hunt in Essex. CH-ers recommend Essex', Farnham's or Woodman's? (Think from past posts it's not the latter, but I'm open.) FYI Clam Box is CLOSED on Tuesdays, otherwise it'd be there. Thanks.

Essex is my favorite of the three. Farnhams is fine. Woodmans hasn't been good for a long time.

Farnhams. and if they still have them, get the big bellies.

I would respectfully add The Village Cafe to that list.

woodman's food was disgusting; greasy, expensive, wicked touristy.

            Farnham's.
