<content>Pupusa-rific! Although their pupusas are pretty good, they're not quite on the same level as La Michoacana in San Mateo. I ordered the plain cheese one which was a little one dimensional (it was my own fault for ordering plain cheese). I wish there was a cheese and bean one - I didn't want cheese, bean, and pork, but maybe next time I'll try zucchini and cheese or loroco and cheese. The pupusa was served with a decent curtido (pickled cabbage slaw) and a bottle of hot sauce, and the three mixed together was a great combination of sour, spicy, and um, cheese.

I also ordered an empanada with beans. Instead I received the plantain and sweet milk empanada which probably was for the best. I though the empanada would have a flaky dough crust, but instead the outside consisted of caramelized plantains (always good) surrounding sweet milk. The sweet milk was solid, not really custardy, just sweet. It was very, very good.

The complimentary chips were fine (though tasted store bought) and served with a tomatillo salsa which was just okay.

Lunch was only $3.75 before tax. Most people would probably need one more item to be full, but it would still be lunch for under $6.
