Pre-show Dinner Yonge & Eglinton

Not sure if it's been posted lately - I searched, yet came up with nothing.

Looking for Pre-show dinner for two at Yonge and Eglinton for approx. $100. Something a little different would be good. Not into a typical Italian or Steak restaurant. Any suggestions?

Thanks all! Went to Quince. It was fabulous! Refine menu with a short yet robust wine list. For two with wine approx. $120. Thanks again for helping make a memorable night! cheers

La Vecchia is a really good italian restaurant, small and intimate. Just a little pricy but if you're going to the show this means you're not going to have a lot of booze, so you can make it with the budget!

I always dine at Green Papaya (about 4 blocks north of Eglinton on the east side of Yonge)... Great Thai food, good quality, but not too pricey either.

I've heard good things about jaipur grill.

I'd give Quince a try. The chef-owner and his wife were the owners of Stork on the Roof, which was farther south on Yonge St.

Stork was a great neighbourhood restaurant with well made, inventive dishes.

Second the recommendation of Zucca for interesting Italian.

Sorn Thai, Tabule(Middle-eastern), or Cha Liu(dim sum served in the evening, as well as during lunch) are other decent options located nearby.

There's also a Greek restaurant that recently opened a few blocks north of Davisville.Can't recall the name of the Greek restaurant right now, and haven't tried it out yet.

Third the recommendation for Zucca and second the recommendations for Tabule and Cha Liu. I'd probably lean towards the latter 2 for a pre-theatre meal and head to Zucca when you're making an evening of it.
