Live from 168 in Alhambra: it's Dungeness (2.99/lb)

Rocked some live sea spiders this week. 168 on Valley in Alhambra, 2.99/lb. Much bigger than those from other area supermarkets. Giants for 3.99/lb. Like the way the meat is evenly distributed throughout the exo-Dungeness.

Take 'em home still kickin'; prepare the sauna. I do it up with sherry, worcestershire, et cetera. Some prefer tequila/lime concoctions. Steaming is the only way. Served piping hot con sal y cremanaise.

Waited in line (so Alhambra IS America). Tank must've housed 2K+. Aksed 4 the biggest, baddest via PTH. Tank minder stomped 'round in his mucks... stomped back with 2 fatties. Held 'em by their asses as they chopped. Tripple-bagged 'em, tagged 'em, sold 'em to the butchers to be.

Got home 'n' realized Dude threw us a gimpy vet... short 1 leg. Couldn't spot it in the fog of war that is 168. This is for those who check and re-check inventory in their drive-thru bags at the second window as they hold up the queue.

          Er...not quite what to make of the second half of that, but quaizi are chopsticks. If you stab the crab in the gut with one, it will die. But I usually just throw them in the water live.

          And Xiamen would a southern coastal Chinese city(or Island with same name), a hop skip and a jump from Hong Kong and directly west of Taiwan. Plenty of crabs there.
