Weigh in on Zagat Top 10

I just got my new 2007 issue last week. Here's the top 10 on basis of Food only:

Matushisa
Melisse
Nozawa
Leila's
Saddle Peak
Shiro
Nobu
Piccolo
Angelini
Katsuya

I know Zagat doesn't carry much weight around here. Any top 10 that doesn't include Spago (11) or Providence (17) is just plain wrong. I haven't been to all 10 but the inclusion of Katsuya sickens me. What do you think of the list?

I is only useful for addresses, phone numbers and relative price. The ratings and comments are crap.

I used to buy Zagat for every city I worked as a traveling salesperson, until I figured out how badly their ratings correlated with mine in my own area, and now regard it as bad fiction. Some of the quotes are amazingly old...

I place no value on the Zagat guide. Nobu? please, the food there is horrible. But you might get to see a celebrity if that's important.
