Why is it that I am only able to see 10 recent posts (seems to be my limit) under my profile, however when I click on other members they are able to see a list with many more?

  1. Your My Chow page also includes your bookmarks, while viewing someone else's page only shows you their contributions, so the lists are of different lengths.

huh? I am not sure this answer makes sense. at least, I don't understand it....unless you are saying there is only so much room on a profile, so if you have lots bookmarked, that means you see less 'my posts'?

It's a design thing not a technical restriction on the number of entries on the page. The list of their posts is a little longer on your view of other people's pages, because there isn't a second list (bookmarks) you have to scroll past the first list (their posts) to see.

    2. Why can I only see eight of my most recent posts? For a long time ten were visible. Then for some reason it dropped to seven even though I added new posts regularly. The new post would be added to "My Recent Posts" and an old one would drop off. A couple of weeks ago I had a new post that was added without losing an old one. So, I am now up to eight that I can view. I have posted two or three times this week (different topics). The each new one is added to my list, and an old drops off.

      1. I too am confused. You said, "..... there isn't a second list (bookmarks) you have to scroll past the first list (their posts) to see." What??
