Second Request - Please help me from starving in Ontario!

  • 6

I'll be in Ontario for the weekend and I need to know where to chow! Please save me from starving all weekend.

Any recommendations? I'm staying at the Marriott.

Thanks in advance.

  1. Chik Fil-A across from the Ontario Mills mall.

Of course, this is only a novelty on the west coast, so you may not think it's anything special.

    1. I had a decent dinner a couple months ago at the Market Broiler -- located at the Ontario Mills Mall. I recall fresh oysters and I ordered the sea bass - which was good as well. (recommended from the waiter).

      1. Joey's BBQ in neighboring Pomona.

i'd second this...i think i had recommended this before.

fyi, i like their pork ribs the best.

        2. These are pretty pathetic suggestions. Mine won't be much better though.

Victoria Gardens is only a few miles up I-15. It has a Yardhouse Brewpub. Hundreds of beers on tap and I think the food is decent.

          1. There are a few decent places out in the boonies if you know where to look. Service comes and goes, but the food is always well priced and decent:

            Tropical Mexico
            1371 S East End Ave
            Pomona, CA 91766

Or for the "college town" feel you can always go to Claremont and try the Press or Hero's for burgers.
