Inexpensive lunch in the West Village?
Anywhere to get lunch in the west village that isnt too expensive? I have a mtg near 10th st and hudson and hope to grab lunch beforehand but dont want to drop $20 on lunch!
below 14th street and west of 6th avenue please. any food - i.e mexican, thai, japanese, chinese, italian, burgs.
ideally a place with tables although table service is not necessary

Westville is a few streets west on 10th Street (just past Bleeker). Fantastic burger (my fav in NYC).
Hudson Falafel does the basics of Middle Eastern well.
Avoid Cowgirl Hall of Fame. Rivoli Pizza is the best slice in the West Village (Hudson and Christopher, or in other words "Hudson and 9th").
The Chinese takeout place on Christopher bet Greenwich and Washington is quite good for it's genre.
Hudson Bagel will make you a sandwich. Bagels are great. Tofu spreads actually taste good.
Hudson Diner on Hudson and Barrow is a good diner. GREAT pancakes (for some reason).
