Keyport Fishery Reopens

From the ashes of a horrible fire, comes a new bldg with the same great fresh fish, famous platters and best coleslaw on the bayshore!

Keyport Fishery reopened this weekend and by all accounts hasn't changed one fin! I read in the paper that the prior owners shared original photos lost in the accident, recapturing the spirit of the place.

Went this past weekend. They rebuilt without changing a thing. The only differences I could see was that the stainless steel in the kitchen area was a bit shinier than I remembered, and there were a few new pictures documenting the fire.

Food (Shrimp and Scallop Platter, Haddock Platter, and Haddock Sandwich plus extra Tartar) as good as ever on a balmy November afternoon overlooking the bay.

Remember, take out only. In nice weather bring a folding chair and sit across the street overlooking the Raritan Bay. Also fried only (or was before the fire).
