Harvest (st. louis) bread pudding!
Harvest restaurant in St. Louis serves this fantastic warm brioche bread pudding with a currant/bourbon sauce. I used to live in the area and I'm dying for it! I remember seeing a recipe sometime ago for it...does anyone have it?
I noticed it's going to be a in some cookbook the st louis originals are publishing.
Can't wait. I'd snagged it when I worked there, but lost it long ago.
The other one I always wished I'd not lost was their pork tenderloin cure/marinade. As it turns out, I remembered Steve had worked for Bradley Ogden in San Fran, and found the recipe in Ogden's one book.
The recipe is in the 2006 Taste of the Originals cookbook put out by the St. Louis Originals, the independent restaurant collaborative. They have it for sale at Sqwires.
