Apple Cider Doughnuts

It's a bit late in the season for apple picking, but does anyone know of a place in the LA/SFV area that carries cider doughnuts? I'm talking about the type of cake doughnuts covered in cinnamon and sugar that used to be available out east when you went apple picking. The ones at Snow-Line orchard in Oak Glenn are good, though it's a bit of trek. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I know what you mean, but I don't remember ever calling them that (or anything... but "doughnuts")! I find that most places here have dismal cake doughnuts - the places people rave about specialize in glazed. Anyhow, the only tolerable - it's actually very, very good - cinnamon doughnut I've found is at Bob's in the 3rd/Fairfax Farmers Market.

I've had them out at Snowline and they are very good. I have yet to find another place closer that serves cider donuts, so we only get them once a year when we trek out there to pick our own apples.
