Individual Wine Boxes?

Has anyone else tried these Three Theives Cabernet in mini boxes? I know it sounds soooooo terrible but I have to say, they are actually really drinkable and fresh. And they were so easy to transport. I wonder if they're doing well?

  1. The bottled Three Theives was pretty drinkable wine for 10 bucks a bottle. So was the Zin. Haven't seen any of the reds in a box yet, only one of the whites which I understand was not very good.

    1. Ugh. I picked up a box from my greengrocer, thinking it would be perfect to take on a kayak trip, and I wish I hadn't. It was vile. I would have done better to stick with my typical bottle of Lancer's.

I am hardly a box snob, either, I can drink me some plonk. Either the batch I got was not typical or it was just not good; in any case, I don't intend to repeat the mistake.

      1. Try the shiraz/cab "CUBE" at Target, $10 for 1.5L and not bad.
Bag in Box shelf life is improving...

        1. I actually liked the Pinot Grigio more than the Cab -- especially really cold.

(As I used to work with them, I've had a lot of it. Also, you might already know that the (mostly tasty) Target wine is made by the same holding company.)
