Tacos Tacos Tacos Tacos in Reno, NV
Hi all,
I am a big fan of Comedy Central's Reno 911! and as other viewers may know, many of the show's finest scenes are set in a low-end Mexican joint called "Tacos Tacos Tacos Tacos." Apparently the establishment features mescal shots and an all-you-can-eat salsa bar.
As it happens, I'm going to Reno in the next couple of weeks and would like to stop by. Can anyone tell me where Tacos Tacos Tacos Tacos is located and if it's worth the trouble to go there? Thanks!

Great link, Susan. Now I know where to send my east coast friends who want to know if Reno is really like the show. And although there is no tacos, tacos, tacos...there are plenty of good low-end taquerias in Reno. If you let us know where you'll staying, we'll steer you to one nearby.

Funny, I live in Sparks, which borders Reno. In the first or second episode of "Reno 911" there's a scene at a strip mall. I recognized it as the place where my friend in Long Beach rents videos. So my hunch is that Tacos Tacos Tacos Tacos is some where in the greater Los Angeles area.

Thanks for your posts. I'm a bit confused. So Tacos Tacos Tacos Tacos does not have a location in Reno but does have one in Long Beach? If that's right, I'd love to know where (I'm in SoCal quite a bit so could stop by if in town). I didn't realize it was a chain.

No. Tacos Tacos Tacos Tacos probably doesn't exist. I've never seen it in the show, but if they use the same restaurant over and over again for the show, *that* restaurant is probably in the greater Los Angeles area. The point I was making was that in the first two episodes of the show, they had a scene briefly in a strip mall that was supposed to be in Reno. I recognized it as a strip mall near the Long Beach Airport.
