Cici

I just saw new store front - still under construction - in downtown Mill Valley for a gelato place called Cici - has anyone heard of this this place? Gelato sounds good to me.

However, I kept thinking it sounded a bit like Ici...

          Right -- the original poster said that Cici reminded her of Ici, but it was pointed out that Ici is ice cream, while apparently Cici will be gelato.

              On a high level
              Gelato = milk-based
              Ice Cream = heavy cream based

              As long as I'm in this thread, here's a link to my report about the excellent gelato at Cici

        For coffee lovers from the above link ...
        "n addition to gelato, Cici will feature Segafredo Zanetti coffee from Italy that will be used in a variety of espresso drinks. One of Italy's most delicious combinations, affogato de cafe, hot espresso poured over gelato, will be on the menu.

        The little cafe seats 11 at tables and three at a counter and will serve primarily gelato and coffee drinks at first."

          Just talked to them tonight. The IJ was wrong. They WILL be open on Sunday, 7 days a week! Best bit is they open tomorrow!

            That makes sense. It really wouldn't make sense for an ice cream place to be closed on Sunday!
