Tried Brigatine in Del Mar after ignoring it for many years. Food was about a C+/B- and a little pricey for the quaity. Entrees ranged from high teens to high 20's. Entrees included a few fish dishes, ciappino, coconut fried shrimp, etc. Home made bread was good. Certainly not gourmet food. Service was slow but friendly. Overall there are other restaurants with better food at similar prices. All paring is $3 valet.

The Brigs have undergone a complete change in decor and Bar layout, which extended the bar area and therefore the reduced Bar menu prices. There is still a dinner menu available, as well as a dining room. The Fish Taco or fish taco dinner are still available at very reasonable prices. I especially like the homemade potato chips in place of the french fries.

Beside the always ready clam chowder at half price during the extended Happy Hours, there is a bowl of chioppino with a nice assortment of seafood at $9.00 on the menu for a lite meal.
