Mellow East Hollywood Cafe?

Anyone know of any cafes around East Hollywood where the coffee's good, the music's not too loud, and the staff is cotent to let you dawdle? I've been to the Bourgois Pig a few times, but it didn't work out: too noisy.

WAY east of vine -- on Gramercy, I think, between Bronson and Western. North side of the street, on a corner.

The usual Starbucks coffees, etc.; some food. I like their Mexican-style hot chocolate. OK vibe; not too self-consciously "hip." But you will see some screenwriters pecking away on their laptops. Computers, that is!

Groundworks at Caheunga and Sunset is pretty chill and the coffee is good.
I've heard Sabor y Cultura is good but I've never been. It is on Hollywood, east of Vine.

Try Solar de Cahuenga at Cahuenga and Franklin. I also noticed a new coffee place on Cahuenga and Hollywood.
