Alton Brown Shun Knives by Kershaw

I am curious to hear people's thoughts on these knives. I have not tried them but would like to.

I have one Alton's Angle knife and 2 other Shun knives. I absolutely love them. Alton's is a smaller knife and I use it as an everyday tool. I can't really tell with the angle or without it and which is better. As for the knives themselves they are all great and I will never buy another brand again.

I have some Shun knives, though not the Alton Brown ones. I love them. They are thin and very sharp and maintain their edge for a long time. If you prefer the heft and thickness of the German knives (Wustopf or Henkels) you might not go for the Shun. My advice is to go to a good store and compare them along with others. I am defititely NOT going back to the heavier knives.
