indian buffet

any good indian lunch buffets in boston? preferably not in cambridge.

    Maybe Mantra in downtown Boston. I heard they have a lunch buffet.

      Rangoli, on Brighton Ave in Allston.

      $7.95 all you can eat. Great food overall and good selection that rotates. They always keep plenty of food coming out and the staff is always super attentive.

        Kashmir is good, $9.95 I think, its on Newbury

          Yes, the buffet at Kashmir has long been a favorite of mine. In the Back Bay, on Newbury just at the corner of Gloucester.

          An Indian friend of mine recommends the weekend buffet at Rani in Brookline; I have been meaning to try.

            I tried that. Overall could not fault the cooking, freshness etc. but I thought the dishes were dull and cliched.
