lunch recs near old convention center site

I am going to Cirque this weekend and understand it is at the site of the old convention center.
Can anyone give me lunch recs nearby? Looking for under $15 per person, any cuisine is fine.

Full Kee for duck stuffed with shrimp paste or Chinatown Express for xiao long bao - ask for these as you might not find them on the menu easily.

Capital Q (707 H, NW) has Texas barbeque.
Matchbox (713 H, NW) has burgers, terrific brick oven pizza.
Check their menus on-line.
All depends on your bar tab however.
Once you get to that block there's other choices of cheap Chinese, etc. Even some dreaded/dreadful fast food if you run short of time.

How about Fado? It's an Irish Pub, but has some delicious food. It's on 7th Street between H and I.

For that price, I think your best bet (frankly, it's a good bet regardless of price you're looking for!) is Teaism, at 8th and D NW. it's just a little walk away.

Good call. I was just in there the other day and discovered they now have a chocolate version of their addicting salty oat cookies. MMMMMM.
