Suggestions for Shipping Apples From Northern CA to Chicago
I got some great Arkansas Blacks that I would like to share with a friend in Chicago. These apples have a thick skin and keep well. I'm thinking that bubble wrap might create too much moisture, so am leaning toward padding with crumpled-up newspaper. Overnighting seems excessive, so will probably go with 2-Day Air unless there is a reason not to.
Any other suggestions? Thanks in advance . . .
