Pensacola recommendations?
I'm looking for places for dinner, either downtown or near I-10.

How could I forget The Coffee Cup?
The BEST breakfast!!!
Great biscuits, grits the way grits will be in heaven! Perfect eggs, terrific hash browns, on and on! The kind of place with blue collar workers and celebrities, retired people at their regular tables, families with kids. Police cars and Mercedes Benzes in the parking lot. -
The best downtown in opinion is The Fish House. It's gets real crowded on the weekends so be prepared to wait, they don't take reservations. The seafood is amazing and their grits dishes are very yummy.
All Making Sens's recommendations are great but sadly the best one, Hopkins is now closed. They closed after Hurricane Ivan, they had the best fried chicken and sides I've ever had.
Madison's on 12th Ave. is also very good. It's not that fancy but a nice atmosphere and good homey food. I love their ginger chicken. -
Had a great meal at upscale Jackson's on the Square downtown. Service and food were topnotch.
Jamie's is charming, relaxing and a touch of the old Panhandle. Located in a Victorian cottage in an historic neighborhood. Great wine list.
Hopkins Boarding House reminds you that this is the part of Florida that is the South with it's down home Southern cooking.
Peg Leg Pete's seems like a tacky beach bar but has fresh seafood, well prepared.
Lots of popular restaurants serving truly fresh fish - stick to local catch and you won't go wrong.
Joe Pati's seafood market is wonderful and they'll pack your purchase in an icechest for the trip home if you don't have too far to travel. It's always our last stop on the way out of town. -
