        I believe your question is impossible to answer because taste is so subjective.
        The best to some people may be WD50 while to others Per Se or bite my tongue even Olive Garden.

        Can you give a little more information on what makes a restaurant the Best in your view? Which will then make it easier to point you in the right direction and offer suggestions.

          I agree with oysterspearls. The best in my opinion is Jean-Georges.

            I will second ManhattanLawyer's opinion. And for lunch on a beautiful day with the light coming through those windows...Must be one of the best dining experiences in New York. And a relative bargain to boot.

            My favorites are: Aureole, Bouley and Danube. (Per Se when I have the funds).
