Gluten Free Eats Near Albany?

Does anyone know of any places in the NY Capital Region (Albany, Schenectady, Troy) or Saratoga where you can get a gluten free meal? I would like to take a friend of mine out, and Im not sure what places will work.

Thanks in advance!

  1. Hmm, I'm not sure, but maybe the people who run the Co-Op would know:

      Thanks for the link!

      1. A coworker with celiac really enjoys eating at Vietnamese restaurants because they don't typically serve bread or put breading on sauteed items. Plus the starch is almost always rice or rice noodles. The only thing to watch out for can be the soy sauce, which sometimes contains wheat gluten. In Albany, the Vietnamese choices are My Linh on Delaware Ave, Hai Au on Madison below the museum, and Vans on Central. Your friend probably could also make some suggestions as to types of restaurants that work for those on gluten restricted diets.
