Al di La tonight - where to hang?

Hey Hounds,

Heading to Al di La tonight. We're going early, but if we have to wait, where's a good place to hang out until a table is available?

We didn't get in! SO we drove back across the bridge, and got into Lupa on a 20 min wait. Well worth it. Duck ragu, one of my favs, and delicious lamb chops.

Al di La can wait.

Well, the most obvious place would be in their wine bar around the corner--they have lots of wine by the glass as well as a snack menu. It's attached to the restaurant, so they'll call you from there when your table's ready. They also serve the whole menu in the small room attached to the wine bar--no atmosphere, but the same food.
