Tasty dinner for tonight in Framingham to Hopkinton

Looking to meet for dinner tonight. Cusine does not matter as long as the food is good and the atmosphere not primarily take out.

Right in Hopkinton, Maria's Caffe Italiano is very good, authentic Italian. nice atmosphere, tables a little close together. The new place across the street, great food and bistro style menu, short on atmosphere. It was primarily a market and takeout. Now it's changed hands and has dinner.
Stones Public House, Ashland, great atmosphere, beer selection, very good food. I prefer the pub.
Nellos in Ashland for old school italiabn. Some families, atmosphere not offensive.
Chenai Woodlands, very good veg Indian, no atmosphere.
Dakshin is much nicer, veg and non veg Indian. I haven;t eaten there in over a year but I may go tonight.
Rat Pack in Framingham best atmosphere. I've enjoyed it there, others on CH haven't.
Lots of Brazilian choices, most lack atmossphere. Ipanema has best atmosphere and all the carnivore wants.
Then Tomasso in Southboro rises above the rest.

I agree with trufflehound. I would either go to Stones Inn (and eat in the pub) or go to Tomasso. If you go to Stones be sure to look at both the pub menu and the dinner menu - you can order off either one. Tomasso is Italian and more $, but the food is more refined..

I went to Dakshin with an indian friend recently and it was awful.

          I'd try Sichuan Gourmet.

Another strong choice. You can see some photos and info about some of the dishes etc on my blog. http://www.dimsumtimes.blogspot.com/

Stone's has a lot more than meat and potatoes (though they do that well). Some of my favorite non-meat regular menu items are the mussels and the smoked trout salad

I have to rebuff the comment about Dashkin I went there recently with my family and it was fantastic. Everything from the way they treated the kids to the food was very impressive.
