How is Antoine's doing?
Has anyone been to Antoine's lately? I was there in May, and it seemed to be limping fairly badly. It's the grande dame of New Orleans restaurants, and I would love to see it bounce back strongly. If anyone can provide a more recent report, I would love to hear it. Thanks!

I was there in April and considering the circumstances I thought it was great. We had a 3rd generation waiter who (we had about 4 Denver people with us who had never been to nola) gave us the grand tour. One of our ladies even left her purse at the table and he managed to chase us all the way back to our hotel with it. Say what you will, but that is what new orleans is all about. Plan on going back soon, will report then.
