Looking for an organic and/or sustainable turkey in atlanta.

would prefer to get one from a local farmer. any one have any ideas? thanks.

  1. Don't know about organic/sustainable, but you could check M&T's, Star Provision, or even Whole Foods for an heirloom breed, which might be raised on organic feed.

    1. Believe it or not, Publix!

      Publix sells Murray's Free Range Turkeys around Thanksgiving and xMas. Superb flavor, white meat darker and dark meat much darker than a Perdue or other regular turkey, not water processed so not dripping with what the best of the mainstream packers label as '5% retained water' from processing.

      Worth the extra price, absolutely.
