interesting lobster dish?

Looking for a place with a good lobster dish (not whole) for a birthday dinner. Any type of cuisine would be fine. Good vegetarian or seafood appetizers would be a bonus.

Wallse's poached lobster dish is really good.

I was *just* thinking the same thing - every dish that I've had at Wallse with lobster has been excellent. Also, I remember an appetizer at Annisa that was "lobster three ways" or something like that - don't know if they still have it.

Union Square Cafe serves a Lobster "Shepherd's Pie" on Mondays.

that's my favorite dish at USC. Good call. Note, its only served one day a week (I think Tuesdays but I could be wrong).

Acc. to the menu on USC's website, Scott V is correct -- it is Monday.

Wallse does have a great lobster entree. Also Danube, Bouley and Aureole.

What about the lobster roll at Pearl Oyster Bar? I remember it being pretty good, but haven't been in a while. Might be a little too casual than what you had in mind.

The Red Eye Grill in Midtown has a lobster pot pie that is really delicious. I think there was a 2lb. lobster inside of it along with a good amount of fresh vegetables. This was about a year ago, so I'm not sure if it is still on the menu, but if it is, I HIGHLY recommend it.
