Hello.

I went to the Farmer's Market on Sunday this spring and it was merely a shadow of the splendidness of the Saturday market. I believe it was the first Sunday market of the year, and maybe they were just getting it together, but there were only a handful of vendors and none behind the building. Has anyone been lately? Does it compare to Saturday?

Thanks

There's also a small market inside on Thursday evening, very few vendors but one of them is La Tercera. Not sure how much longer she'll be showing up, she only sells a few months a year.

The Sunday market is the smallest with a handful of vendors. It closed for the season on Oct 1st. If you need a big Sunday market, the one in Marin has many of the Ferry Plaza vendors.

There is a Sunday market at Jack London Sq. in Oakland that is normally very well attended by vendors.

Yeah, but it's not the same top-tier vendors as at SFFP or Marin.

I think a lot of the vendors will only be at the Heart of the City market (UN Plaza) until the end of Oct. I really like this market for the exceptional value. We go and get a week's worth of ORGANIC produce for 2 ppl for about 10 bucks. The same ammount of food will cost you more than twice as much at the Ferry Plaza. Definitely not the same experience but worth checking out.

I always thought the Sunday market was advertised as a "Garden Market." Most of the vendors sell plants for home/office/garden, not edible products.
