Takeout in Atlanta (Roswell Area)

I recently moved to Atlanta - I'm living in Roswell although I've ventured further afield to find good restaurants!

Even though I've found some great places to eat, I'm still looking for good places for takeout. I'm usually alone, and it's often a pain to eat alone in a restaurant - if the restaurant is busy you end up stuck at the bar where some drunk guy tries to hit on you, or the waitress sticks you next to the kitchen and ignores you. So when I just want good food (that I don't have to cook), I like to get takeout.

But even restaurants that are good at sit-down dinners aren't necessarily good for takeout. I've been checking out various places, but I'm still looking for some hidden gems.

You have endless choices: Rasa Sayang, Ubon, Satay House, Azteca Groceria, Rhea’s, Alpine Bakery and Pizzeria are among the many choices. Many others, depending on what part of Roswell and what you are looking for.

Two fantastic places on Green Street in Roswell that are owned by same couple and literally across the street from each other. My only stop when I'm in the area.
      1) Swallow at the Hollow--a roadhouse-type BBQ place that does BBQ real well--be sure to get some of their choc chip banana pudding to go.
      2) Greenwoods--good Southern-style cooking and huge portions. If you can only get one thing to go, get one of their meringue pies--too big to fit in a regular carry-out container.
Good luck and let us know what you think.
