delivery to West L.A. , what's good?

allecat22 Oct 10, 2006 08:36 PM

Work in west l.a. and I don't always bring my own lunch, where should I order delivery from? I'm also trying not to break the bank; usually order salads from Earth, Wind and Flour and curry form Thai Fresh. I'm in to all kinds of food! Thanks.

I have had a love hate relationship with Express Chicken at the corner of Westwood and Olympic - its Indian food at its best and at its worst depending on the year (and I am sure the chef). I don't order the dinners but items individually. The raita is very good, chicken curry excellent and lamb vindaloo good. There again, I can be in love or want to lose the phone number for ever. Depends. Otherwise we love Jaipur for Indian delivery especially the prawn birani. Amerci (sp?) for pizza in Wwood village is good.

Very good, very consistent, we use it for all our office parties, and they're owned by the same people as the Nook.

        A few recs:

        Dunya's, Olympic & Westwood (Lebanese)
Pistachio Grill, Wilshire & Le Doux (Persian)
Thai Fresh, Westwood just north of Santa Monica Blvd. (Thai)
California Fresh, Westwood & La Grange (American)
