New Year's Eve question

How far in advance would you recommend that I make reservations for New Year's Eve? My husband mentioned wanting to go to Antoine's. Am I too late?

      Holidays in New Orleans tend to pack the restaurants, even post-Katrina. Call now and see if you can make a reservation.

        Most places aren't even taking reservations yet. And we have no precedent for predicting what the crowds will be like, so your best bet is just to call and ask. I know that lately, uptown restaurants have had no last minute availability, while every FQ restaurant we've gone to has been half empty. Could be different on a holiday, though.
