May Street Market on Grand
I have been there twice and would recommend it to anyone.
Both times the service and food were excellent. My favorite thing there has been the lemongrass and carrot soup with mussels which is fabublous. The medalions of venison was memorable as well.
I have had the trio of burgers and it was very good although the quality of bread could have been a little better (same goes for the bread basket).
I also enjoyed the fact that much of their food is organic and locally sourced as well. Something that doesn't get done often enough in Chicago.
The only criticism I had was the bread, and the noise level, which can get a little high on the weekends. But the food and service is terrific for the price.
