New Ulm (MN) Oktoberfest / Sausage Shop Bratwurst

Just wanted to give a shout out for the food and beverages in New Ulm this past weekend. Since the weather was so nice we ventured down there for the outdoor festivities. I'm not a bratwurst fan but had the best one ever from one of the booths at the downtown beer garden. The sign said it came from the Sausage Shop on 3rd & Broadway. Also, the Schell's beer and 1919 rootbeer hit the spot. This Saturday (12th) is the last day if you are looking for semi-Chow road trip.

Also checked out menus for the Ulmer Cafe and Larkspur Market. Ulmer had several German specialties and Larkspur had more of a Cafe Latte type of menu.

I second your shout out! The Sausage Shop is the only place I've been to that actually carries authentic Weiss Wurst, just like I had in Munich Germany.
