Need fabulous seafood restaurant not Le Bernardin!

Our New York cousin's 80th birthday. He loves seafood. He won't let us take him to Le Bernardin (he's off the "nothing is worth that much money" school!). Help! Need a great place for maybe 75.00 a person? Is BLT Fish still open and is it worth it?

Try Esca, 43rd and 10th. Sounds like just what you are looking for.

I second this. Very good seafood but in a more casual and well-priced setting. From what I've read about BLT Fish, the shack downstairs isn't worth it (plus, I don't think you can reserve) while the restaurant upstairs is good but very pricey.

I've been there twice where they over cooked my scallops

          You could try Milos.

I have to agree with Aquagrill. It is amazingly consistent.
