Seeking BEST Red Sauce Italian

Location, decor, prices (high or low) are not an issue. Want to eat a red sauce ("gravy") that's excellent, great meatballs, great "manigot", etc.
cannot speak for their meatballs or manicotti, but randazzo's in sheepshead bay has some damn fine red sauce.
As far as we are concerned, the best red sauce in Brooklyn is at S. Cono and Sons O'Pescatore on Graham Ave. in Williamsburg. Homemade ravioli, handmade Lasagna, the red sauce shines. And the meatballs are everything a meatball should in fact be. Tender, well browned on the out, juicy in the middle, and seasoned all through with herbs, cheese, etc. A delight, and worth the trip! Tues. night all wines on the list are HALF off. And they have some great wines aside from Sassicaia.
While I find myself avoiding certain dishes there (A few years ago had Veal Marsala which was made with Harvey's Bristol Cream and really bad) the majority of dishes are truly excellent. I'm always absolutely ecstatic over their simple marinara sauce. So simply made; yet made perfectly. Fish dishes are always outstanding and the hero's for takeout are out of this world.
