Prosperity, SC "gasthaus"
Had dinner at a place in Prosperity (205 Main St.) called Gasthaus Zur Elli. It's a small, cozy place (reservations are a good idea. There are 2 choices for the evening. That night the choices were wiener schnitzel with sauteed red cabbage and browned seasoned potatoe chunks (I had that and it was great) and a smothered ribeye with garlic mashed potatoes and cabbage. Also came with a tasty cup of soup and small salad and great carrot cake for dessert. I think a few beers were consumed and the total was $116 for 4. Elli likes have carry her wine around to chat with each table before they leave. We'll deffinately go back.
