Waterfire Dinner w/2 Little Old Ladies?

Hubby's mom is visiting the weekend of Oct 21, we're planning to take her & her friend to Waterfire. They're old but very mobile, however we'd like to minimize walking, so we thought having dinner along the river where we'd have a view would be the best thing to do. They enjoy food but wouldn't necessarily appreciate anyting too high-end or expensive. We'd also be open to taking them somewhere then shuttling to the river.

Thanks for your suggestions!!!!

3 Steeple St is a great rec based on your request. It's not that there isn't better food in the area, but it would be very pricey. I suggested it to a coworker and he came by to let me know how happy he was w/his meal (as were his 2 companions) and this is a man who gets to dine on an expense account frequently.

3 Steeple street is right on the river at Waterfire. Elegant, historical but reasonably priced
