Pinkberry=tasteless [moved from L.A. board]

After all the posts and hype had to try it. Drug my hubby, a frozen dessert addict to the new Pinkberry in Westwood. I sampled the Green Tea which didn't entice me to order one. Hubbie had regular with a few normal adult toppings, no Capt. Crunch or Cocoa Pebbles. Since the toppings weren't labeled, it was necessary to ask for a description. We were totally unimpressed with this $5 yogurt as was the consensus of the young crowd sitting outside. For my money, the Big Chill down the street blows this stuff away.
I like Pinkberry precisely because it's very mild and has a slight yogurty tang. But I agree that the lines are ridiculous, and I would go much more often if the price and line both decreased.
Finally tried Pinkberry late am in Westwood today. (There was a line of about 15 people last night, so we went to Bigg Chill instead.)
Today (before noon, no line)tried the regular and the green tea. I thought they were excellent. I did have to drive around the block a few times to park in a loading zone for 3 minutes to get there.
Though I liked it, I probably won't be back due to access issues. There's also 5 grams of sugar per ounce of yogurt - not something I can do. They barely filled the small cup and it was $3.50. Great idea, want to eat their yogurt, but I will be sticking to the Carbolite flavors at Bigg Chill.
