Walk-in suggestion for 4 people below 23rd St.?

Have friends coming into town at last minute. Need a fun, somewhat hip restaurant below 23rd Street that we could walk in (don't mind a bit of a wait).

I've never had too much trouble walking in at Crispo.

aspen is fun and we had no troubloe walking in during the week. you should ask what weekends are like. also, Le Zie is very good on 7th near 20th. it's not overly hip, but martha stewart was there recently when we had dinner. :-)

opentable.com is a good site to start with. Good restaurants often requires reservations or a long wait.
