There's one out here by me in Woodland Hills. Across the street are those terrific cheese steaks. It's only very busy on the weekends and, even then, not much of a wait.
I don't drink coffee — that's my husband — but I appreciate their excellent tea selection *and* the fact that you can open a tiny jar and sniff any of them before ordering. Their freddo drinks are sensational. And the employees are very helpful and friendly.

peets is my absolute favorite, i like the brentwood one cuz they are quick there as well as the one in beverly hills is very roomy to sit around in....the sunset one though is really slow and the parking is horrible, i suggest avoiding that one alltogether. peets is amazing, i think they definitely need some more locations like maybe in hollywood or west hollywood even, maybe the melrose area as well...the coffee is really so much better than starbucks or coffee bean, i have been spoiled.

I love Peet's too! I know they will be opening up on in Marina Del Rey on October 23rd, but I'm not quite sure where in Marina Del Rey it will be.

re: westsidegal
Probably at the "New" old ralphs.....uuhh....the one on Mindanao and Admiralty that was totally demolished and rebuilt....they have that new minimall with the fountain and everything......I used to go there 3 times a week for breakfast and coffee when "Zebra Cafe" was there...pity they didn't put it back up.
I used to go to Peets a lot...but I've been rushing in the morning...perhaps I need to hit it up more....

You might find their website handy for future reference.
Two in Santa Monica, two in Pasadena, one each in Santa Clarita, Tarzana, Larchmont, among others. -

That's a question to type into yp.yahoo.com.
But close to me, I know there's one on Westwood just off Santa Monica (between Santa Monica an Olympic). Usually not too crowded, although the crowded Peet's will have higher turnover and better coffee.

re: Pei
fwiw
peets is my go-to source for coffee.
i dunno why, but the brewed coffee at the westwood blvd location, imho, sucks.
i love the brewed coffee at all the other locations i've visited.
the ground coffee is the same at all locations.
can't imagine what they could possibly be doing differently at that one location--it makes no sense to me.. . .
