  1. Big Ragu on Lansdowne at St Clair...small but lots of fun and great food...or Giovanna's on College just West Clinton...wood burning pizza oven...great Italian food...Mama Mia in the kitchen...large round table for fun and conversation and sharing food...Miranda

    1. For Italian, my girlfriends & I always like Five Doors North for a casual atmosphere girls' night out or La Vecchia for high end dining in a pretty room. Both are on Yonge, Five Doors being walking distance south of Eglinton and La V being walking distance north of Eglinton.

        I second five doors north.

I also reccommend Grano which is across the street from it.

If you want more of a "social" atmosphere, try Grazie (although I usually avoid this place due to all the people).

Sapori on Yonge st, North of Lawrence makes wonderful italian food and GREAT bread.

      2. What about Rocco's Plum Tomato or Hot House?

        1. Five Doors North is great, as is Gio Rana's Really Really Nice Restaurant at Queen and Leslie. You'll know you're there when you see the really really big nose...

          1. 7 Numbers- on the danforth meets your criteria- v. fun atmosphere! Terroni on Queen,
            also Bar one on Queen
            have fun!
