Denver Eats

Visiting Denver in a couple of weeks. Would like some recommendations for families, traveling with 80 year old grandma and 1 year old baby. Looking for places of Asian cuisine and good breakfast spots.

What type of Asian are you looking for? What area of the city you will be staying in? That might help narrow the suggestions.

Not really familiar with the area. I believe we're staying in Westminster.

Westminster is a wasteland. But all is not lost because you're only 10 minutes from Louisville. Try Tu Lien in "downtown" Louisville for Vietnamese. A good family type restaurant is also there on the corner of Main & Pine - The Huckleberry. Grandma will love this place. Whatever you do, stay far away from the Blue Parrot. For some reason this mediocre place has a cult following but it's downright awful!

In that case......Bloom in Flatirons Crossing is higher end nouveau American. Further down the road on McCaslin in Louisville is Via Toscana. Tucked away in a strip-center this place is great inside and has excellent food. It's also very reasonably priced, especially the wine list.
