My favorite remains Yura (3rd Ave and 92nd, very underrated bakery imo) with their delicious cupcake versions. Yours?
Carrot cake is carrot cake. Some people make it too dry, some too moist, other in between. The real test is the butter-cream cheese icing. If that isn't right then no carrot cake tastes good.
Buttercup Bakery! The cake is perfectly moist, the cream cheese frosting is a a creamy and consistency, yet not too heavy.
