Panaderias in Mid-Town area

Suger Jones Oct 2, 2006 11:15 PM

Does anyone know of a really great traditional panaderia in the mid-town to downtown area? I see tons around but i don't want to try them all to find the best...I just want to cut straight to the chase!

What are you looking for? There are different choices for rolls, pan-dulce, and other things. Do you have a preference for Mexican v. Central American?

I don't really know the difference between Mexican and Central American. I'm willing to try anything but I'd love a traditional Mexican panaderia as well as any other recommendations.

Two good Central American ones on Beverly, between Normandie and Vermont. Guatelmateca on the south side of the street and panaderia El Salvador on the north side.
